Gnadenfeld  (p. 69)

 

Gnadenfeld, a village in the Molotschna Colony, was settled in 1835. In 1870 Gnadenfeld became the administrative centre for the eastern half of the Molotschna Colony. A secondary school for boys was opened in 1857, and a school for girls was opened in 1907. The Mennonite Brethren Church had its beginning there in 1860.
