Mennonite Colonies in Bolivia (p. 204)

Tres Palmas was the first Mennonite Colony in Bolivia. It was founded in 1954 by fifteen families from Fernheim, Paraguay. Since then numerous groups of Mennonites (Sommerfelder, Old Colony and Reinlander) have established colonies near the city of Santa Cruz.
