Eigenhof, East Reserve, The Dufferin Visit (p. 169)

One of the most exciting events in the early history of the Mennonites in Manitoba was the visit on August 21, 1877 of Lord and Lady Dufferin, the Governor General of Canada and his wife. Eigenhof is located about six miles west of Steinbach.
