Mennonite Exodus 1923 – 1929 (p. 153)

During the years 1923 to 1929 about 21,000 Mennonites managed to get out of the Soviet Union. Most of them went to Canada. Some of them were sent to Mexico. Many of them were detained in Loechfeld or Atlantic Park, the trachoma treatment and quarantine centres.
