Kornelius Buhr Estate (p. 126)

Kornelius Buhr 1826 – 1885 purchased the estate during the 1860’s. The estate was located one day’s travel by horse and wagon east of Bergthal. Kornelius and Elizabeth Buhr had three children. After the death of Kornelius his two daughters Anna and Elizabeth moved to New York, Ignatyevo. His son Heinrich and Mrs. Buhr stayed on the estate. Mrs. Buhr died in 1909. During the Revolution bandits vandalized the estate.
